Kooky Catchups With A Crazy Kid

Aimee. She's the most easiest friend I have ever had. Easy in the sense that we just are. There are no qualms, no issues, no tendencies to fight or anything. We see each other so little, but when we are together it's as though we've never been apart. She's just a normal, lovely, every day girl with a big heart and a generous soul and I feel invincible when we're together. Doing absolutely nothing is the best time ever with this lady.

Today we caught up after 3 months, the last time I saw her was one of my last days in Australia. We had Thai takeaway on a grass patch in Newcastle East, then decided to get ice-cream followed by a cider at the ______ .
Today's adventure was in the lovely winter sun; a late morning drive out to my favourite little town, Wauchope, a soy latte and yummy orange, almond and date cake at The Living Room, followed by perusing the little shops dotted along Wauchope's tiny main street. Then we decided "hey, let's go to the break wall!" So we did. And there we met up with some old friends who were skating at the skate park (Kim on the board, Allison in her wheelchair). With the business and overload of kids on their scooters, we felt our time was better served on the park beside instead. Giggles ensued.
