Oh, Baby!

Samantha is a friend of a friend of mine. But she's so honest, witty and friendly that I'd like to say she's a friend of mine too. I met her just over a week ago, after hearing so much about her through close friends. She had found out months ago that she was pregnant, and had moved back home to the Newcastle region to settle in to a new life. She so eagerly wanted to celebrate that fact - having had to move around and quit a job and start fresh. And so, in my own way, I was able to help out. We wandered alone the seaside, non-stop laughing along the way, and got to know each other. That kid is in for one hell of a ride with the awesome mama it's got. And I can't wait to see that relationship bloom into something wonderful.
